As of August 1st 2023, the team at SIA Medical Mulgrave would like to advise you that we are no longer able to bulk bill every patient for every visit with us. Unfortunately, the cost of running a Medical Practice continues to rise whilst the Medicare rebates have grown by a very small percentage that is in no way sufficient to cover these costs.
Our focus has always been to provide Quality, High Standard Care to our patients, and to enable us to sustain this, we find we are forced to make the transition to mixed billing. We will be introducing a charge that will be as minimal as possible, being mindful of the difficult times we are all facing.
We will continue to Bulk Bill Pensioners, Healthcare card holders, Children under 16, and everyone 65 years and over with a concession card.
All other patients will be required to pay $81 for a standard weekday consult and will receive a $42.85 rebate from Medicare.
We are most grateful for your understanding with regard to this requirement and are always available to answer any queries you may have.

Meet Dr Nadereh Mazloumi

Dr. Nadereh is a highly experienced and caring aesthetic physician who offers personalised

Dr Pranjal Deka
Dr Pranjal Deka completed his medical degree in 2003 and has been part of the Australian health system since 2013, working across metropolitan and regional hospitals. He has a special interest in diabetes management, weight loss, endocrine disorders, and autoimmune diseases. Dr Deka holds a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery and performs minor procedures within the practice. He became a Fellow of General Practice in 2019 and provides comprehensive general medical care.
